Responsibilities
- Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
- Manage payroll records and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Calculate and process deductions, benefits, and taxes related to payroll.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports regarding payroll expenses.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and compensation.
- Coordinate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data.
- Assist with payroll audits and regulatory reporting as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in payroll accounting, ideally in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Thorough understanding of payroll laws and regulations.
- Exceptionally detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
