Grounds Keeper

As KCG Residential continues its tremendous growth we look for great people that share in our core values to add to our team. KCG is looking to hire a full time Grounds Keeper for our residential community.

As the Grounds Keeper, you will be responsible for the overall upkeep of the complex. Your position will ensure our residents receive timely and high-quality maintenance repairs and customer service.

As a groundskeeper you will be responsible for;

• Upkeep of the property buildings and grounds which includes cleaning and removing of trash.
• Maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or the management company.
• Preparing outdoor areas for various weather conditions by weatherproofing, covering outdoor furniture with tarps, lying down unsecured items, etc.
• Other projects and responsibilities as assigned by Management
• Completes snow removal tasks such as shoveling sidewalks, steps, and doorways as needed during winter months.

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to follow instructions and complete assignments.
• Excellent time management skills.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods walking, standing, bending, stretching, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, or kneeling.
• Must be physically able to operate power equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
