Field Service Technician

Rhiel Supply Company is seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing professional repair and maintenance services on customer equipment. This includes both in-house and offsite work, where you will be responsible for installation of new equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and addressing repair issues.

The ideal candidate for this role should have experience or a willingness to learn electrical diagnostics. Knowledge or experience in small engine repair would also be a plus.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Current and valid driver's license
• A good driving record
• Prior experience in machine service/repair or comparable technical work
• Ability to provide basic hand tools and the ability to use them
• Ability to troubleshoot repairs

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear
• Vision: Close and distance, color and peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 lbs.

Skills:

• Proficient in using a computer for order entry and calendar entries
• Electrical diagnostic skills and ability to read electrical schematics
• Experience in small engine repair and maintenance
• Ability to solve practical problems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong drive, motivation, and initiative (with opportunities for upper mobility)
• Experience in cleaning equipment service
• We value the ability and willingness to learn over experience
• Clean driving record with ability to drive over 2 hours
• High mechanical aptitude with ability to use and provide basic hand tools
• Basic experience with electrical diagnostics
