The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment. This role is critical in proactively managing the requests and needs of our CEO, in addition to managing a broad range of tactical and strategic support activities, while always professionally representing the company.

The primary duties of the Executive Assistant include the following:

 

  • Assist with special projects and initiatives, including research, data analysis, and report preparation. 
  • Manage logistics for visiting senior leadership, executive events, and larger meetings whether in person, remote, or taking place in another region
  • Coordinate travel and expense reimbursement for the CEO
  • Manage and maintain the CEOs calendar for travel, meetings, and other events
  • Screen internal and external correspondence (email, phone calls if necessary), appropriately conserving the CEO’s time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence
  • Assist with preparation for meetings as needed, including creating presentations, collating reports, or pulling together documentation
  • Draft clear, professional emails and memos with careful attention to detail
  • Strictly maintain confidentiality where required

Requirements

The ideal Executive Assistant candidate will have the following skills and experience:

 

  • Five or more years of administrative or clerical experience
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office, primarily Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and experience managing calendars for others
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
  • Exhibit good judgment, discretion, integrity, and responsibility
  • Ability to communicate and convey information in a clear, focused, and concise manner
  • Proactive and energetic with a positive attitude and the ability to create strong collaborative relationships
  • Responsive to changing pace and deadlines, with the ability to increase the sense of urgency as appropriate

Position Details: This is a full-time salaried position. It is in-office/hybrid (primary office located in Cincinnati, Ohio).  Because this role supports our CEO and reports to the Director of HR, candidates should be within easy distance of Cincinnati, OH.  This role will not be required to be in the office every day, but when the CEO is in town, it will be expected that this person will come to the Cincinnati office when possible.
