Agricultural Equipment Sales

This position would be responsible for:

• Work with a team to be responsible for retail sales of agricultural equipment and promotion of products
• Relationship building, which would include conducting sales calls and presentations, finding potential new customers, making recommendations to customers, maintaining relationships with dealers and existing customers, developing sales territory for future growth
• Implementing marketing tools and maintaining public relations through customer education
• Managing new and used inventory including equipment and parts
• Providing after sales product follow ups, as well as equipment operations support
• Attending industry trade shows and events to represent products and communicate with customers in person
• Coordinating with accounting staff to ensure accurate invoicing
• Monitor market conditions and changes
• Delivery of equipment (augers, conveyors & miscellaneous non CDL items)
• Startup and train customers on equipment to also include demonstrations with customers
• Anchoring of bins

Requirements

Education requirements:

• Prefer a bachelor’s degree in ag business, business, ag sales, ag marketing or ag systems, but not required
• Must have a minimum of 2 yrs experience working with agricultural equipment, agricultural mechanics
• Experience with mechanics on ag equipment a plus
• Experience with air seeders, augers and conveyors a plus
• Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record
