Record Storage Systems is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as an IT Assistant. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting with various IT tasks and supporting users across the company. Responsibilities
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues for end-users
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals
- Set up and configure network equipment, including routers, switches, and access points
- Conduct routine maintenance and updates on software and hardware systems
- Maintain accurate records of IT inventory and assets
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of data backup and disaster recovery plans
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to users with varying levels of technical expertise
Requirements
- Associate degree in IT or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving computer hardware and software issues
- Knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs
- Experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with basic scripting or programming languages is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team

$70,000 - $100,000 Annually
