We are looking for a VP, Account Management to take a key position at SPCSHP. This role requires a true leader who has experience with 360 campaigns - tv, digital, social, web, video, and content and a strong ability to identify white space opportunities. Plus an innate curiosity about internet culture and the ability to champion SPCSHP’s work, culture, and process.

Role + Responsibilities:

  • Partners with Director level through CMO-level client contacts across business units, while maintaining a presence with the day-to-day client team
  • Is very comfortable acting as both an extension of the SPCSHP leadership team, as well as our client's leadership team. A true partnership, in the effort to build and grow relationships, is key
  • Is a student and teacher of the marketing world constantly learning/evolving and helping to disseminate that information to the rest of the team
  • Leads multiple tracks of campaign development and management work
  • Possesses the ability to sell advanced strategic concepts, drive initiatives, and live the Agency’s values
  • Demonstrate micro and macro knowledge of the client’s business with continuous research of the brand, its categories, and competitors
  • Demonstrate micro and macro knowledge of the advertising industry and how to get great work done
  • Responsible for the development of the highest quality creative work by sharing knowledge of the client/business/brand and demonstrating strong creative judgment
  • Have a finger on the pulse of clients’ cross-channel marketing, including social presence, social trends, and channel shifts
  • Devises short-term and long-term brand, social, and digital strategies in partnership with senior strategic and creative leadership
  • Ensures smooth running of finances and administrative systems
  • Has experience and is able to oversee scoping, timeline creation, project management, margin, and revenue growth in partnership with finance and project management
  • Problem solves day-to-day account issues as needed
  • Has a proven track record for driving additional business opportunities for the agency and growth opportunities for clients
  • Manage direct reports, and partners closely with cross discipline counterparts
  • Have a perspective on the account discipline practice and a passion for contributing to discipline culture
  • Will be reporting to the Managing Director, Account and interacting closely with the agency leadership team

Requirements

Skills + Experience:

  • 12+ years as a brand steward and business partner to senior-level clients; with at least 8 years within the marketing and advertising space
  • Candidate based in the NY area
  • Travel may be required in this role as needed
  • Experience in delivering/managing integrated social marketing campaigns required
  • Experience working with VP-level and C-suite Agency Team
  • Experience fostering and owning relationships with VP-level and C-Suite Client team
  • Experience in delivering/managing multiple integrated marketing campaigns at once is required
  • Experience managing a large multidisciplinary account
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills
  • Excellent management skills
  • Proven track record in selling cross-disciplinary work, in addition to both organic and new business growth
  • Has directed a portfolio of business exceeding multiple millions in revenue
  • Ability to understand, interpret, and report on all financial aspects of the account. Including actuals, projections, margin, and overall health

Benefits

The salary band for this role is $200,000 - $230,000. Where a prospective new hire's base salary will fall within this band depends on several factors including their qualifications and experience, the skill level required in the role, market rates, and the salaries of existing crew members at SPCSHP within the same role to maintain equity.
