Full Job Description
Our partner is hiring a Universal Branch Associate in Latham, NY. The primary role is to provide exceptional member service through efficient transaction processing and a consultative sales approach aimed at building and maintaining member relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately process transactions and educate members on various transaction channels.
- Resolve member complaints promptly and involve other departments as needed.
- Handle large volumes of cash and negotiable items.
- Assist with daily operational tasks and branch maintenance.
- Open new memberships and accounts, process loans, and refer members to relevant financial services.
- Adhere to policies and procedures while utilizing systems for cross-selling.
- Acquire and maintain knowledge of products through ongoing training.
- Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals.
- Support marketing initiatives to enhance member awareness.
- Comply with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in training and development programs, including Bank Secrecy Act training.
- Contribute to teams, projects, and strategic initiatives.
- Demonstrate professionalism and teamwork, embracing guiding principles.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED certificate, or state authorized high school equivalent.
- NYS Notary Public license required within 12 months of employment.
- Minimum 1 year of customer service and sales experience in financial services or retail.
- Previous teller or cash handling experience preferred.
