Full Job Description
A national paper products supplier is currently seeking a Territory Sales Representative to be based at their Scotia, NY headquarters. Responsibilities include selling corrugated box product line in packaging marketplace.
Candidates must be located in the Scotia, NY area.
What your will be doing:
- Successfully sell packaging solutions to consumer goods manufacturing and distribution companies within a given territory
- Research the competitive landscape to identify prospects and establish key relationships with new clients
- Examine and evaluate customer's packaging needs and then offers recommendations to fulfill those needs while striving to meet the directives established by regional and plant management
- Grow existing client base by conducting regular site-visits, corresponding through phone
- Effectively conduct sales presentations to demonstrate the company’s product line to prospects and existing clients
- Maintain accurate client records in CRM and submit daily reporting
- Other related duties as assigned
Requirements
What you bring to the table:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience outside sales experience within the packaging industry, corrugated box experience highly preferred
- A proven track record in prospecting and expanding business within a given territory
- Strong account management skills with a history of developing long-term relationships with clients
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical, reasoning, and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communication at a levels of an organization
- Able to travel 50% of the within the assigned territory, overnight travel required
- Valid driver’s license required
- BA preferred
