Talent Vision, a leading Staffing and Consulting Firm, is partnering with a reputable charter school in Rochester, NY, to fill the position of Teacher. As a Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and help them reach their full potential. Your passion for education and dedication to fostering a supportive learning environment will be key in creating a meaningful educational experience for students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Deliver instruction in an effective and dynamic manner, utilizing a variety of teaching strategies and resources.
  • Assess student learning and provide timely feedback to promote growth and achievement.
  • Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and encourages collaboration.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the individual needs of students and provide support to students with diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective instructional practices and strategies.
  • Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends.
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is required; a master's degree is preferred.
  • Valid teaching certification is preferred.
  • Prior teaching experience is strongly preferred.
  • Passion for teaching and a genuine commitment to student success.
  • Strong knowledge of subject matter and curriculum standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, administrators, and parents/guardians.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of students and respond to changing circumstances.
  • Proficiency in using technology to enhance instruction.
