Parallel Employment Group is proud to partner with a top manufacturing leader offering the highest quality products and seeking an Experienced Administrative Assistant with Purchasing experience!
Preferred 2-year degree or 2+ years of experience in Purchasing.
The base salary range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00 an hour
Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm
Requirements
Primary Responsibilities / Essential Job Functions:
Collaborate effectively with various departments.
Ensure efficient operations of receiving, filing, inventory monitoring, and Material Test Reports.
Enter and amend Purchase Orders, and communicate with vendors to support all Service Center products.
Assist in the Out For Processing operation, overseeing smooth flow from Sales requirements to customer shipment, including imaging of documents and compiling standard reports.
Interact directly with Service Center Vendors and Employees as needed.
Provide periodic progress reports on assigned projects to the Sales Team.
Maintain accurate records and files.
Ensure a safe and clean work environment.
Participate in all required training activities.
Cross-train with the team to maintain department functionality.
Minimum Qualifications:
Preferred 2-year degree or 2+ years of experience in Purchasing.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changes, while maintaining attention to detail.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Experience with AS400 or other ERP systems is a plus.
