Our consistent, organic growth plus a recent $70M investment has accelerated the expansion of our fantastic team and we are currently seeking to add an action-oriented Hardware Provisioning & Diagnostics Associate to the team in Commack, NY.
In this role, you'll be responsible for the provisioning and diagnostics processes within the IntelliShift Fulfillment & Logistics Team. Expertise includes evaluation of hardware provisioning requirements, problem-solving and preventative actions, and use of inspection methods and tools.
This position requires an office presence, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 6 pm, at our HQ in Commack, NY.
What you will do:
- Support the hardware lifecycle through bench testing and processing of returned hardware.
- Provisioning of hardware for inventory stocking and/or shipment to IntelliShift customers.
- Configuration of hardware, including updates to firmware, networking, access permissions, or other properties.
- Bench test and process customer Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) requests daily, including the identification and remediation of issues that can be quickly solved..
- Refurbish hardware for warranty-use; track defective hardware.
- Coordinate with Engineering to load and test new firmware remotely (over the air) as required.
- Edit documents using MS Word, Excel, and Visio.
- Work in conjunction with Engineering on provisioning and diagnostics tooling and process.
- Analyze data of all IntelliShift hardware to create monthly KPI reports for RMA operations.
- Follow-up on proposed actions on findings to verify implementation and effectiveness.
- Maintain an accurate physical count of inventory located on premises on a monthly basis.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Assist manager with all inventory-related communications with other departments as required.
- Perform other inventory duties as needed.
What you’ll need to do it:
- 2-3 years of experience in a Fulfillment, Warehousing and/or Logistics environment.
- Knowledge of wireless/telecom/computer network equipment hardware is required.
- Strong communication, organizational and teamwork skills.
- Strong knowledge of computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional Saturdays.
- Be a self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Familiar with cellular and wireless technology and/or vehicle electronic systems and RF test experience is strong plus.
- Knowledge of vehicle electronic systems is a plus.
- Comfort and Experience using screw guns and similar power tools.
- Physical requirements: Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 50 lbs., walking, sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, close and color vision to distinguish parts and marking.

Compensation & Benefits
We offer competitive compensation, commensurate with experience: $22 - $25/hour. We also offer outstanding benefits to simplify the lives of our employees and show them how much we appreciate their contributions. IntelliShift provides a full benefits package including company-subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401K with a 4% company contribution. This is a full-time, nonexempt position requiring an in-office presence, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 6 pm, at our HQ in Commack, NY.
