Universal Energy Solutions is seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and resolving inquiries and concerns. As a Customer Service Representative, you will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with our valued customers, assist with account inquiries, billing issues, and provide product and service information.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with inquiries, changes, and issues related to their accounts.
  • Provide product and service information to customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Resolve customer concerns and complaints, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage customer accounts and update information as needed.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure prompt and effective resolution of customer issues.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed customer records and interactions.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Proven track record of successful sales
    • Experience in training others
    • Strong background in sales and marketing
    • Ability to work independently and in a team
    • Knowledge of the energy, wireless communications, internet, or security industries is a plus
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior customer service experience, preferably in a call center or similar environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle difficult or irate customers with professionalism and empathy.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
  • Proficiency in using customer service software, as well as MS Office applications.
  • Familiarity with the energy industry is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
