Full Job Description
The Administrative Coordinator will work closely with the prayNYC Director and Missions Pastor to enhance our organizational effectiveness by providing comprehensive administrative support. This role is pivotal in maximizing the deployment of mission initiatives and ensuring the smooth operation of both departments.
- Work alongside the Missions Pastor and prayNYC Director to maximize missional deployment.
- Develop and lead administrative teams to support departmental functions.
- Assist in planning and executing both regular and special gatherings and events.
- Support the prayNYC Director and Missions Pastor with various tasks, research, and special projects to enable them to focus on strategic initiatives.
- Oversee the administrative tasks of PrayNYC.
- Manage the administrative duties and deployment activities of the Missions Department.
- Plan and execute standalone events hosted by prayNYC and the Missions team, ensuring they meet organizational standards and goals.
- Monitor project timelines and budgets, providing reports to directors as required.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, enhancing communication and collaboration.
- Adhere to and encompass the qualities and characteristics required of Church of the City New York Staff Members, as defined by the Staff Handbook.
Requirements
- A Christian in submission to the authority of the Scriptures and the Holy Spirit, as evident in lifestyle. Subscribes to and is in full agreement with the Church of the City’s Statement of Faith.
- A satisfactory equivalent of education, training and experience in related fields and/or educational disciplines, sufficient to qualify for the requirements of position.
