Requirements

The Investment Admin will report to the Investment team and will support the Investments team in managing critical functions ranging from data entry to document management to general administrative tasks like expense report assistance, travel booking and event coordinating.  

The admin will serve to communicate and coordinate with Asset Management, Construction, Accounting and Onboarding teams to ensure all parties are informed throughout acquisitions and financing. The selected individual will have great attention to detail, excellent communication, and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and competent in prioritizing and working collaboratively. The role will be a great fit for someone with a strong interest in renewable energy finance.  

Initial responsibilities of the admin may include: 

  • Document Management & Project Support 
  • Manage the movement of files from external data rooms to various folders within Greenbacker’s file storage system (Sharepoint). 
  • Set up and organize Microsoft Teams Channels for acquisitions and financing. 
  • Keep data rooms and channels updated with appropriate team members. 
  • Manage external partners setup and access in SharePoint. Work with Technology to resolve access issues and security holdups.  
  • Schedule regular calls for the Investments, Technical Due Diligence, Accounting, and Operations teams with external parties such as sellers and outside counsel in preparation for acquisitions.  
  • Ensure essential information is circulated and appropriate parties notified. 
  • Manage diligence logs and pass between relevant parties. 
  • Coordinate site studies and permits and update owner and user questionnaires for the renewal of Phase 1 ESAs (Environmental Site Assessment).  
  • Investment Admin Support 
  • Manage Expenses for Investments leaders, including travel, hotels & conference bookings. 
  • Notarize documents 
  • Take meeting notes and distribute them to team members.  
  • Summarize recent industry news.  
  • General contact for Investment related questions and inquiries.  
  • Work with employees to help get deliverables and answers from the Investment team.  

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes 

  • Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Highly proficient in learning new software tools and their advanced capabilities.  
  • Well versed in the Microsoft Office suite: SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. 
  • Familiarity with Asana and Salesforce preferred.  
  • Ability to manage workload autonomously and effectively. 
  • A team player who enjoys a friendly but professional team dynamic. 
  • Detail Oriented - we are searching for someone who will be attentive to detail and leave no stone unturned in the quest for precision and accuracy. 
  • An ability to maintain organization and timeliness in a busy environment and to help drive organization in the department.  

Location: NYC Office

The annual salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 per year.
