Athletes Unlimited is looking for an Administrative Assistant to support the CEO and other NYC-based senior leaders. The ideal candidate has strong written and verbal communication skills, great problem-solving skills, is highly organized, and can manage time well. The Administrative Assistant will work closely with team members across the organization and will report to the CEO.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the CEO and senior leaders in the NYC office
  • Assist in organizing meetings and events, both external and internal, organizing documents, meeting preparation materials, taking meeting notes, and ensuring follow-ups as assigned
  • Build high-quality visual and written presentation materials (PowerPoint, Google Slides, Canva, basic video editing)
  • Support CEO in logistics around public speaking and events 
  • Support office needs in New York City - coordinating in-person meetings, handling mail/packages
  • Arrange travel and accommodations for CEO as well as other staff and athletes in conjunction with the Operations team
  • ​​Plan and execute events and offsites: including employee-only events, board meetings, and partner/client entertainment. (e.g. scheduling, basic A/V, Food, presentation materials)
  • Assist in the management of company event invitations and RSVPs
  • Coordinate and manage corporate gifting

Requirements

  • 2+ years of prior work experience
  • Must be willing and able to work on-site at our office in midtown New York 4 days per week (except when traveling for work)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective use of digital tools and resources (not limited to project management software and tools)
  • Personable and solution-oriented customer service skills
  • Strong sense of aesthetics (event planning) and experience and comfort interacting with colleagues, partners, and clients
  • Willingness and ability to travel to league locations flexibly as needed 
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when needed
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Benefits

This role is full-time, hybrid, non-exempt, and is compensated at a range of $48,000 to $52,000. While this is the intended range, the actual compensation may vary based on several factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications and skills. We anticipate the highest end of the range will be reserved for those who exceed the hiring committee’s expectations on all measures of the evaluation process.
