Quebedeaux Buick GMC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the day-to-day operations of our dealership, ensuring that our administrative processes run smoothly and efficiently. Your exceptional organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities will be essential in managing various tasks ranging from clerical duties to customer service. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere. You will assist in coordinating appointments, managing schedules, and maintaining records while also providing support to management and other team members as needed. Your proactive approach and ability to prioritize tasks will be valuable assets as you contribute to the overall success of Quebedeaux Buick GMC. Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner
  • Manage and maintain schedules for managers and team members
  • Organize and maintain filing systems, both electronic and paper
  • Assist in preparing reports and presentations for meetings
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent service
  • Coordinate meetings and appointments, including travel arrangements
  • Perform general office duties such as data entry, scanning, and mail distribution

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a related field
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
