Alchemy Worx is an award-winning, audience management agency specializing in email, SMS, and paid social marketing for clients ranging from the Fortune 500 to local market players. The agency offers advanced marketing services, utilizing both time-tested and emerging methods and technologies to secure a higher rate of customer engagement and retention.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for client relationships, revenue goals and expansion opportunities for Alchemy Worx.

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation of 3 days a week at our NYC office.


What You’ll Do:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention
  • Maintain ongoing renewals and existing client sales pipeline and track existing client upsell opportunities 
  • Develop and execute account plans to meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams including analytics, creative, production, and strategy to ensure the successful delivery of projects and campaigns
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, becoming a trusted advisor and strategic partner
  • Lead client meetings and presentations, providing strategic insights and recommendations
  • Mentor and manage an account executive and traffickers, providing guidance and support to help them upskill in their roles
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, sharing knowledge and insights with clients and internal teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in account management or a related field, with a proven track record of managing and growing key accounts
  • Strong understanding of marketing and advertising principles, with experience working across email, SMS/push, and social marketing
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
  • Leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to mentor and develop team members
  • Highly organized, with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams
