Seeking an a Production Manager for our Secaucus, New Jersey office. This is open to internal candidates only.
The main purpose of the Production manager role is to oversee the successful execution of large projects, developing and maintaining complex client relationships, and managing and training the team.
Requirements
Main Responsibilities
· Develop long-lasting relationships with new clients and further those with existing ones while communicating closely with co-workers and vendors.
· Identify project requirements and scope and estimate costs and time requirements for successful project completion.
· Provide clear and concise directions or instructions to all internal and external resources working on any aspect of a project.
· Manage and assign in‐house and freelance technical staff to events.
· Create in‐house personnel schedules.
· Manage costs associated with the fulfilment of events.
· Maintain inventory.
· Recruit new technicians/vendors/suppliers in multiple regions.
· Assess, train and lead team members and support staff in their workday.
· Evaluate and negotiate with new vendors and assign them to appropriate ranks.
· Be the main point of contact for technicians/vendors/suppliers after hours.
· Address escalated production issues/quality problems.
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Educational Background
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Professional Experience
- 5+ years of management experience.
- Requirement of 5 day per week in the Secaucus, NJ office and ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and overnights.
Skills and Knowledge
Ability to build relationships and manage a team
Customer service skills
Ability to negotiate and manage projects
Ability to solve problems and multi-task

Salary base range for this position is between $65K to $75K, dependent upon experience and physical location.
