Field IT Technician

Networking Background

• Proven experience with network administration, troubleshooting, and support
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP protocols, and network technologies
• Certifications like CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or CCENT strongly preferred

Video Surveillance Software Experience

• Hands-on experience with enterprise video management systems (VMS)
• Ability to install, configure, and support medium to large scale VMS deployments
• Knowledge of industry-leading VMS platforms and their key features
• Experience integrating VMS with other security systems is a plus

Access Control Software Proficiency

• Working knowledge of access control systems and software
• Experience administering and troubleshooting access control solutions
• Familiarity with integrating access control with video surveillance systems

Access Control Hardware Experience (Preferred)

• Hands-on experience installing and maintaining access control hardware components
• Knowledge of readers, controllers, electronic locks, request-to-exit devices, etc.
• Ability to specify and deploy access control hardware based on site requirements

Additional Qualifications

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
• Strong customer service and communication abilities to interface with end-users
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Availability to travel to client sites as needed to deploy and support systems
• Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) best practices and ticketing systems
• Experience with remote support tools and technologies
• Knowledge of IT security principles and best practices
