Quality Engineer

Luxium Solutions in Milford, NH is in search for a Quality Engineer to join the Quality team! The Quality Engineer will drive process improvement and work collaboratively with both internal and external customers. The individual will work within all facets of inspection operations, calibration, corrective action, 5S and quality performance feedback systems. The individual will have the ability to carry technical responsibility for quality within a fast paced, highly custom/build to order, manufacturing operation where many quality control specialties are required. They will be the subject matter expert and oversee Regulatory Standards, coordinating with Engineering, Purchasing, and Suppliers. 

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 3+ years' experience with implementation, maintenance, and auditing of ISO 9001-2015 Quality System required.
• 1+ year experience with communicating complex technical details and requirements with customers both internal & external required.
• Proficiency in Quality/Process improvement tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, DMAIC, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, APQP, FMEA, SPC, 8-D, DOE and Kaizen preferred.
• Familiarity with inspection equipment including hand tools, optical comparator and CMMs preferred.
