The Quality Assurance Supervisor is a professional, registered nurse or Allied Health Professional responsible for all the quality activities of the organization. The Quality Assurance Supervisor has accountabilities for the monitoring, implementation and evaluation of processes and programs to meet regulatory, accreditation and standards of practice.

Responsibilities of a Quality Assurance Supervisor:
- Responsible for the oversite and monitoring of the organization’s quality assurance activities.
- Collaborates with Performance Nurse Educator and clinical supervisors to provide a process to promote and ensure employee orientation, competency and in-service education programs.
- Monitors organization compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Responsible for managing quality assurance review process, including managing the members of quality assurance team, ensuring documentation and OASIS review processes are optimized for compliance, and quality outcomes.
- Responsible for managing all aspects of the patient intake process including managing the members of the intake team, establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and referral sources, responding to customer requests and concerns.
- Collaborates with Marketing and Community Outreach Manager to implement community education that meets community education needs.
- Promotes self-growth and collegial relationships with others in the home care industry.
Qualifications of a Quality Assurance Supervisor:
- Registered nurse or Allied Health Professional with current professional licensure to practice in the State of New Hampshire.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Three (3) to five (5) year's home care experience.
- Excellent understanding of performance improvement, quality assurance, and
utilization management. - Is self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Has excellent coordination and communication skills.
