Material Handler

We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in the printing process by ensuring that materials and supplies are efficiently managed and organized.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move materials within the warehouse.
• Maintain proper inventory levels by monitoring stock, conducting cycle counts, and completing stock rotation.
• Prepare materials for production, such as cutting and measuring paper, as well as assembling necessary components.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of materials to production areas.
• Handle and dispose of waste materials in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues or malfunctions.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret instructions.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, up to 50 pounds.
• Proficient in using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and practices in a warehouse environment.
