Location:

Role Impact:

As our Director of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), you will lead a crucial mission across our U.S. facilities. Your strategic vision and leadership will advance our environmental, health, and safety standards, ensuring we not only comply with regulations but set new industry benchmarks. This role places you at the heart of our operations, where your efforts directly contribute to our legacy of safety and excellence.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Forge and lead a top-tier EHS program across multiple sites, setting a standard for the industry.
  • Act as a pivotal liaison between our team and external partners, including regulatory agencies and industry groups.
  • Drive strategic EHS initiatives, from development to execution, ensuring compliance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Offer expert guidance on EHS matters, ensuring all operations align with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Mentor and manage a dedicated team, promoting excellence and uniformity in our EHS practices.
  • Lead proactive engagement in safety program development, regulatory compliance, and team training.

Requirements

Your Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Safety Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in EHS leadership within manufacturing, specifically with explosives; experience with radiation/laser safety and defense contracting highly desirable.
  • Proficient in NFPA codes, Agile project management, and ERP software, preferably Oracle.
  • Ready to travel to other locations quarterly, with a willingness to relocate to or within commuting distance of Newington, NH.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to government contract regulations.
