We are currently in search of a dedicated and empathetic certified medical assistant who can effectively handle a wide range of responsibilities within our healthcare facility. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our medical practice, including patient interactions, appointment management, and clinical support.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Warmly greet patients upon arrival and provide a welcoming and comfortable environment.

2. Manage the scheduling of appointments and maintain an organized appointment calendar.

3. Handle incoming phone calls and promptly respond to emails, demonstrating professional and courteous communication at all times.

4. Collect and record patients' personal information with the utmost care for privacy and confidentiality.

5. Verify patients' payment methods and medical aid coverage to facilitate seamless billing processes.

6. Perform accurate and reliable measurements of patients' vital signs to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.

7. Collaborate with physicians to assist in the diagnostic process, ensuring thorough and efficient support.

8. Collect various lab samples from patients and carry out necessary lab tests in alignment with established protocols.

9. Maintain a hygienic and sterile environment by appropriately sterilizing medical instruments and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

1. Possession of valid certification in medical assistance, demonstrating a solid understanding of medical practices and principles.

2. Proven experience in administrative duties within a healthcare setting, showcasing strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.

3. Prior involvement in direct patient care, highlighting the ability to approach patient interactions with compassion and empathy.

4. Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to upholding accuracy in all tasks and documentation.

5. Adaptability to work extended shifts and effectively manage multiple tasks during demanding situations.

6. Exceptional interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset to foster positive and collaborative working relationships.
