Your Objective
As an Assistant Technical Designer, you ensure the integrity of Life is Good brand products as they come out of the factory. From apparel to accessories, you’ll ensure our products meet or exceed Life is Good standards about appearance, quality, and durability requirements. You will do this by partnering with internal teams to ensure the development of quality products that can be manufactured proficiently and efficiently.
YOUR JOB:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Interpret the expectations of our Design and Product teams and document requirements for sample creation and evolution
- Analyze product by measuring, testing, and reviewing building blocks such as physical patterns for apparel, and dissecting components when needed
- Assist and contribute feedback during live model and standard fit-form fit sessions
- Document, find, and sort technical and quality-related details in our PLM system
- View prototypes and fit samples virtually using our digital 3D pattern system
- Gather details regarding product performance from product returns data
- Assist with physical inspections for all products as needed
- Participate in research for new products and components
Requirements
Your Experience and Qualifications
- You understand the basics of garment construction and patternmaking
- You effectively use the Microsoft Office suite of products
- You have experience using Adobe Illustrator and PLM Management systems
- You speak and write clearly and succinctly
