ABA Therapist, School Contract Staff

This contract would be effective from the new employee's hire date through June 15th 2024 (end of the school year). After June 15th , the employee would work in the RSC Manchester clinic full time. 

The school contract info is as follows:

Position title: ABA Therapist, School Contract Staff 

School: Hillside Middle School in Manchester, NH. 

Classroom/Students: EBD (Emotional & Behavioral Disorder) classroom for students grades 6-8. Between 8-10 different students assigned to classroom, however, staff member would be rotating through a few students per day. 

Teachers/Oversight: Classroom is run by 2 case managers employed by the Manchester School District. BCBA oversight is provided by RSC BCBA (10 hours per week). 

Daily Responsibilities: Taking data, collaborating with school team/RSC BCBA, implementing antecedent modifications, modifying school assignments, supporting one or more students in the regular education setting, teaching calming strategies to use during times of distress, implementing behavior plans, etc.

After June 15th the daily responsibilities would be the same as an ABA Therapist in our Manchester clinic as listed on the website.

Requirements

ABA Therapist Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to pass a background check
• Experience working with individuals with Autism is not required, but a plus!

ABA Therapist Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to keep students safe from themselves and others and in some cases may need to implement Safety Care procedures.
• Must be able to remove oneself from potentially harmful situations and in some cases be able to lift a child.
