Full Job Description
A partner company is looking for a Market Leader in St. Louis, MO. The Market Leader will develop and execute strategic growth plans and establish the brand to lead the Commercial product segment's regional growth and retention strategies. The role involves building and enhancing relationships with providers, brokers, community partners, and members.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the market for product entry
- Identify market threats, opportunities, trends, and new entrants, and provide feedback to local and corporate leaders
- Monitor and analyze competitor behavior, pricing structure, performance, strategy, and product offerings
- Support achievement of annual revenue and growth targets for each product line
- Develop strong relationships with the broker community and educate them on the brand, mission, vision, values, product, and network benefits
- Develop relationships with key providers and assist the Network Management team with building networks and ACO partnerships
- Identify opportunities to create unique and strategic partnerships with employer organizations
- Lead the identification, prioritization, initiation, and evaluation of relationships with various stakeholders throughout the market's service area
- Coordinate with sales, marketing, and segment leaders on the outreach strategy for the market
- Prioritize and collaborate across the enterprise as well as external key stakeholders
- Provide direct (sales) and indirect (matrix) leadership of all internal and external teams working on behalf of the region
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or finance or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of leadership experience in a health plan, care system, or broker agency
- 5+ years of experience directly managing staff, including the ability to attract, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with commercial products strongly preferred
- Successful track record of managing customer, provider, or broker relationships of varying sizes, locations, complexities, and sophistication
- Market knowledge of the St. Louis area
