Full Job Description
Our partner is seeking a Sr. Director, Pharmacy Growth and Affordability in Minnetonka, MN. The Sr. Director is responsible for advancing the pharmacy growth strategy, affordability agenda, and establishing team priorities in partnership with product leadership for each line of business.
Responsibilities:
- Manage pharmacy affordability and trend initiatives from ideation to execution and outcomes monitoring
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the enterprise
- Engage and manage vendors, including contract negotiation
- Develop and implement a strategy for the self-funded pharmacy business
- Work with market and product leadership to create a pharmacy roadmap for membership growth
- Establish and manage a formal process for monitoring pharmacy PBM and vendor performance
- Ensure financial and non-financial outcomes are achieved in conjunction with pharmacy business leaders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience (Master's degree preferred)
- 10+ years of healthcare industry experience
- 5+ years of experience in a managed care pharmacy-related field
- Managed care pharmacy experience with a Pharmacy Benefit Manager, Health Plan, or related organization
- Deep understanding of the financial components of pharmacy and pharmacy performance metrics
- Experience with organic strategy creation and navigating ambiguity in the marketplace
- Experience working in a matrixed environment
- Strong strategic thinking and planning capabilities
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong leadership abilities and competencies
- Advanced degree in a healthcare-related field (PharmD) preferred

- Competitive salary range of $167,700 - $287,500 (based on factors such as education, experience, certifications, etc.)

Additional Information:
- This is an office role, requiring an employee to work from the designated office (Madison, WI, Minnetonka, MN, or Omaha, NE) on average, 2+ times per week.
