Full Job Description

C & B Equipment, a progressive family-owned company that has grown over 30 years to include John Deere ag, material handling and powersports locations, has an opening for an Office Administrator at one of its John Deere locations in Pipestone, Minnesota. This position is responsible for a variety of administrative tasks in the areas of customer service, financial, personnel, sales, parts and operations. The position reports to the Store Manager and works closely with the other managers and employees.

Essential Duties:

  • Enthusiastically greets visitors and answers phones
  • Tracks vacation and hours to timely submit for payroll
  • Prepares customer invoicing
  • Assists Branch Manager with Accounts Receivable collections
  • Assists Regional HR Manager on new hires with preliminary and/or onboarding procedures
  • Assists Store Manager and other departments with administrative requirements
  • Any other duties assigned by the Store Manager

Requirements

  • Ability to use standard computer applications such as Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Good people and communication skills
  • General Accounting knowledge
  • Proven experience in providing exceptional customer service
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
  • Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions, for example - sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling
