NorthStar Regional is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Officer to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our organization. The Administrative Officer will be responsible for managing office procedures, coordinating schedules, handling communications, and providing basic financial and clerical support. An integral part of our team, you will contribute to the efficiency of our programs by streamlining processes and supporting staff in various administrative tasks. Your organizational skills and proactive approach will be key in maintaining a positive work environment and ensuring that all administrative functions are carried out effectively. Responsibilities

  • Manage office supplies and ensure efficient office operations.
  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, and appointments for staff and executives.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for external communications, managing phone calls, emails, and correspondence.
  • Maintain organized records and files, both physical and digital.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation.
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing and budget tracking.
  • Support staff with various administrative duties as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree in administration or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in a healthcare or nonprofit environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with office management software.
  • Able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
