Full Job Description
The UX/UI Designer (Senior) is responsible for designing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces
for the organization's shared platform environment. This role collaborates closely with cross-
functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to understand
user needs, identify pain points, and create design solutions that enhance the overall user
experience while addressing reliability, performance, stability, observability, data governance,
and security challenges.
Locals to DMV region are preferred.

Requirements
Responsibilities:
● Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather
insights into user behaviors, preferences, and pain points within the shared platform
environment.
● Analyze research findings and translate them into user personas, user journeys, and
design requirements that inform the design process.
● Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for various applications and tools
within the shared platform, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and adherence to design
standards and best practices.
● Collaborate with developers and technical teams to ensure that design solutions are
technically feasible, scalable, and aligned with performance, observability, and security
requirements.
● Participate in designing and implementing data governance and security measures,
ensuring that user interfaces promote data integrity, privacy, and compliance with
relevant regulations.
● Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and pattern libraries to ensure
consistency and efficiency across the shared platform's user interfaces.
● Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to improve and refine the user
experience, addressing performance, stability, and observability issues.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions align with business
goals, technical constraints, and stakeholder requirements.
● Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX/UI
design, accessibility, and user-centered design principles.
Qualifications:
● A bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, or a
related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
● 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating user-
centric design solutions.
● Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar software.
● Strong understanding of user research methodologies, usability testing, and design
thinking principles.
● Experience in designing complex systems, data-driven applications, and enterprise
software.
● Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines (e.g., WCAG, Section 508).
● Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
● Ability to work in an agile environment and adapt to changing requirements and
priorities.
● Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
