Requirements
Rockford Construction 601 First Street NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504; Translator; Duties include: convert complex business administration and contract documents from Korean to English; read complex business administration and contract documents in Korean; maintain or duplicate the written structure and style of the source document while keeping the facts accurate; and use software to assist in the translation of new text and post-edit for accuracy. Bachelor’s Degree in Korean, Business Administration, or Communications; requires knowledge of the Korean language. Environmental Factors
The work environment for this position may subject the individual to hazards commonly associated with construction including high temperatures, humidity, cold temperatures, and climbing stairs and ladders. Other examples of physical hazards include noise, proximity to moving vehicles, atmospheric conditions, close quarters, uneven surfaces, and elevated surfaces. The individual may also be subject to outside environmental conditions (weather) where protection may not be available. Lifting of 50 lbs, bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing will be necessary to perform the requirements of this position. Use of mobile equipment and power tools will be frequent. Personal protective equipment (PPE) including proper footwear, hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection (if applicable), high visibility vest and/or other special clothing shall be worn on construction sites at all times unless otherwise specified.
