Student - External Communication

As a recognized leader in the specification, design, development, validation and production launch of advanced vehicle and powertrain systems, IAV Automotive Engineering deploys a leading team of technical experts, engineering tools and program processes from its North American Headquarters in Northville, Michigan.

IAV is seeking a driven student looking to provide value to an organization and develop their professional skillsets in our Marketing, Communication and Media - Student Support role. This role is a one-year assignment at our Northville, MI location. The position will be Hybrid work model with in-house work at our Northville location and remote days.

The responsibilities for the position are as follows:

• Provide marketing and communication support doing editorial work: research, image acquisition, publication of content on various channels
• Write your own posts and articles – of course with IAV team support
• Prepare topic packages and publish them (example: as landing page or as a press kit)
• Tasks will include, but not limited to creating, maintaining and revising presentations.
• Maintains editorial calendar
• Data collection
• Information sharing
• Answer internal and external inquiries
• Controlling and further developing media monitoring as well as compiling internal newsletters
• Upload and store documents on a knowledge database

Requirements

• Current student working towards a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree with focus in Marketing or Communication & Media
• Requires working 20hours a week and know how to manage work and school schedules.
• Feeling for a storytelling and design
• Knowledgeable in social media tools and platforms
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite skills; intermediate to advance Excel skills
• Communicative personality and team player
• Enthusiasm for technical topic
