Full Job Description
Lynx Software Technologies is seeking a Senior Embedded Engineer who is ready to join our team and work directly with our customer in Grand Rapids, MI.
The position will initially be onsite at our customer’s site. However, after the program completes the position will transition to a remote position.
Selected applicant will be subjected to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and must maintain eligibility for continued access to classified information throughout their employment as required by the job.
Salary: $120,000 - $155,000 per year
What You Will Be Doing
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for our customer, onsite in Grand Rapids, MI.
- Assist with development, integration, and rollout of customer’s engineering solutions using Lynx Software Technologies’ products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to debug and troubleshoot software issues
- Deliver training to customer staff to enhance their understanding of the use of Lynx software products and our engineering solutions
- Act as a liaison between the customer and Lynx Software Technologies, ensure clear and effective communication
- Collect feedback from the customer and identify ways to improve the deployment and support processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- 8+ years of experience building and shipping embedded systems
- Experience developing and debugging products utilizing an RTOS
- Strong hardware level knowledge, troubleshooting skills and the ability to interpret a schematic
- Strong history of effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in C and/or assembly
- Must be a US Citizen and be eligible for a US security clearance
Ways To Stand Out
- Experience with virtualization and hypervisor technologies
- Experience with different architectures (ARM, x86, PowerPC)
- Experience with new hardware enablement and driver development (RTOS, bare-metal, Linux)
- Experience with safety-critical software development and practices (DO-178C)
- Experience with Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) and open architectures (OMS, FACE)
