Job Description:
As a Red Hat OpenShift Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable containerization solutions using Red Hat OpenShift. You will collaborate closely with development teams, system administrators, and other stakeholders to architect robust and secure container platforms that meet the organization's requirements. This role requires expertise in containerization technologies, particularly Red Hat OpenShift, as well as strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of cloud-native architectures.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Red Hat OpenShift container platforms to support the organization's application workloads.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and provide guidance on best practices for containerization.
- Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline the deployment and management of OpenShift clusters.
- Perform capacity planning and optimization to ensure efficient resource utilization across OpenShift environments.
- Implement security policies and controls to protect containerized workloads and data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OpenShift platform performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in containerization and cloud-native technologies.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience designing and implementing containerization solutions using Red Hat OpenShift in enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of containerization concepts and technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Helm.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their integration with OpenShift.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration (RHCSA) or equivalent certification is a plus.
