Hire Resolve is currently partnering with a leading company in Portage, MI to find a skilled individual to join the team as a Construction Project Manager.
The primary duty of the Project Manager is to oversee all aspects of residential construction projects from their inception to completion. This entails managing, scheduling, and supervising all activities at the construction site while ensuring adherence to allocated budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project schedule, quality, and safety standards.
- Assist in interview preparations for negotiated bids and drafting bid scopes.
- Schedule and plan awarded projects effectively.
- Assess and select appropriate construction methods.
- Ensure timely delivery of project materials to the site.
- Maintain efficient construction workflows and accounting practices.
- Conduct thorough inspections to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and local building codes.
- Communicate with clients and provide regular progress reports.
- Coordinate and oversee construction workers and subcontractors.
Requirements
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, and Builder Trend.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management abilities.
- Effective conflict resolution and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates a high level of professionalism.
- Regularly works at project jobsites exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
- Must be able to navigate various terrain and work areas under construction.
- Capable of climbing stairs and ladders, and occasionally lifting up to 20 pounds.
- Required to wear protective safety equipment while on the jobsite.
