Project Manager

Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Construction firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Project Manager in Portage, MI.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for project schedule, quality, and safety
• Participate in interview preparations for negotiated bids and writing bid scopes
• Scheduling and planning of awarded projects
• Evaluate and determine appropriate construction methods
• Manage and ensure project materials are on site at the appropriate times
• Maintain proper construction workflows and accounting practices
• Inspect all work to ensure compliance with plans, specifications and local building codes
• Communicate with clients and deliver project progress reports
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractor

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related discipline preferred but not required if the applicant has enough relevant construction experience
• 5+ years of project management experience in the residential construction industry
• Experience reading blueprints
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certified preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical, organization, and time management skills
• Effective conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, and Builder Trend
