 As a Procurement Analyst at Envalior, you will transfer data into business information. Proactively monitor and analyze performance and trends within direct spend to identify, highlight issues and opportunities that support the business.

Additionally, you'll embrace a pioneering spirit, exploring new methods to enhance our processes and techniques.

Requirements

Purpose of the Position

Support the Global procurement team to develop and implement sourcing strategies, drive best value for spend, ensure that risk is understood and managed appropriately, through research, analyses and working with cross-functional teams.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for accurate internal procurement data and data analysis; consistently improve the data quality (input) and report quality (output).
  • Track procurement KPIs based on different business requirements and develop KPI tools if necessary. Work with colleagues to identify opportunities and actions for continuous improvement by analyzing internal KPI data and market benchmark.
  • Support Category Managers in all kinds of business requirements, including but not limited to historical data digging and price forecasting.
  • Verify prices and formulas of specific materials with reference to market intelligence. Collect, update, and provide key inputs to rolling forecasts.
  • Support in budget period in terms of different requirements.
  • Lead activities with the Cross-Functional Teams. o Work closely with Finance and Control team. Provide purchase data analysis to facilitate the work of commercial controllers, BG controllers, and financial controllers.
  • Collect and provide procurement input for supply chain management team for supply security.
  • Collect and provide procurement input for research and technology team to prioritize research activities and resources.
  • Work as the sustainability champion, communicate and coordinate between procurement team and other functions to make sure that procurement contributes to the sustainability.
  • Be familiar with different systems. You will be the key user of these systems and work with procurement team to identify potential opportunities to improve the system usage.
  • You will be the owner of procurement-related tools and work closely with Group Digital Services (GDS) organization to continuously improve the tools.
  • You will be the coordinator and key resource provider for procurement digitization projects.

Impact of Position

Sourcing analyst provides insights based on data analyses that are used in category strategies/RFPs/spend analysis/KPI tracking; these insights are used for decision making and driving improvements. Position is mainly supportive.

Working Relationships

  • Mainly within direct procurement team and supporting CPO and Direct Procurement Directors
  • With Finance and Control team. Provide purchase data analysis to facilitate the work of commercial controllers, BG controllers, and financial controllers.
  • With Supply Chain Management team for supply security.
  • With research and technology team to prioritize research activities and resources.
  • With sustainability team

Potential Challenges

Setting the right priorities as a sourcing analyst works with many different stakeholders; aside from that challenges are limited.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree, preferably in Engineering and/or Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Communication skills, analytical skills, digital savy
  • Less than 3 yrs exp
