Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Maintain accurate employee payroll records, including hours worked, deductions, and benefits.
- Address employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to payroll processing.
- Prepare and distribute payroll-related reports for management and auditing purposes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with HR to ensure accurate and updated employee information is reflected in payroll systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Strong knowledge of payroll software and Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Familiarity with federal and state labor laws and regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Excellent analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
