Full Job Description
- Responsible for visually inspecting and packing items for shipment.
- Assembles cardboard containers or selects pre-assembled containers.
- Inserts items into containers using spacers, fillers, and protective padding.
- Binds containers with proper material (e.g. tape).
- Weighs parts for count.
- Makes and applies identifying information (labels) and shipping instructions onto containers.
- Ensures information is accurate and conforms to order.
- Load and Unload Trucks with forklift (with both gas and electric).
Requirements
- Forklift experience a PLUS.
- Have experience with micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools.
- Comfortable with computers and Microsoft Office programs. SAP Experience a plus.
- Detail-oriented.
- Data input skills needed.
