Full Job Description
Our growing company, AdvisaCare is looking for a Part Time Medical Director to help lead our organizations expanding continuum of care to provide the right care, at the right time , in the right place, every time.
** Coverage area will be for Traverse City, Cadillac and surrounding areas!**

Requirements
- Clinical oversight for all hospice patients (5-10 hours per week)
- Provide treatment that promotes client dignity, independence, individuality, strengths, privacy, and personal empowerment.
- Oversee patient medication prescriptions as required
- Documenting in specified EMR
- Phone on-call for clinical questions and orders
- Supervise Nurse Practitioner
- Attend interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings every other week
- Carry out any other duties as may be required by the company from time to time.
Qualified candidates:
- Licensed to practice as a DO, or MD by the state of Michigan
- Minimum 1-year physician experience
- Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills
- Basic knowledge of Hospice philosophy
