Manual Lathe Machinist

A national company with a facility in the Pontiac area is currently seeking a Manual Machinist for Direct Hire opportunities with their growing team. These are exciting opportunities for candidates seeking a direct hire Manual Machinist position with opportunities to grow and advance within the organization.

Requirements

Qualified Manual Machinist will possess most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:

·         2+ years of recent/relevant manual lathe experience

·         Experience and ability to use precision measurement tools and gauges

·         Complete set up and tool changes

·         Experience using Bridgeport, boring mills, drill presses and surface grinders

·         Experience with hydraulics and pumps is a plus

·         Must be able to work in the United Stated (no H-1 sponsorship or student visas considered).

·         Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, etc.
