Full Job Description
Our partner; a financial institution headquartered in Plymouth, MI seeks a Manager/Core System Operations to oversee core banking and ancillary systems. The role offers a starting annual rate of $115,500, with potential for higher compensation based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and provide technical leadership for the core systems and software support team.
- Monitor and prioritize system cases, ensuring completion according to departmental standards.
- Collaborate with the Project Management Office to meet project implementation objectives.
- Maintain knowledge of all applications and systems; serve as primary technical contact with vendors.
- Oversee installation, maintenance, and evaluation of software releases; conduct performance testing and tuning.
- Manage databases for optimal performance; assist in core system scheduling and administration.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years of IT experience, including 3 years in managing IT projects or systems.
- 2 years of experience with Jack Henry Symitar system management.
- Strong ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Advanced problem-solving skills and professional interpersonal communication abilities.
- Extensive knowledge of computer, network, and security systems.
