Full Job Description
Our partner is seeking a Manager/Core System Operations to oversee core banking systems and related operations. This role involves managing system administration, automation, team leadership, and ensuring adherence to organizational values and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and provide technical leadership for the core systems and software support team.
- Monitor cases, prioritize tasks, and assign requests to team members, ensuring adherence to departmental standards and complete documentation.
- Collaborate with the Project Management Office to ensure project objectives related to system implementation are achieved.
- Maintain knowledge of all applications and systems, acting as the primary technical contact with system vendors.
- Oversee installation, maintenance, and evaluation of new software releases, including performance testing and tuning.
- Provide leadership in core system scheduling, administration, and software support management in collaboration with the AVP/Core Operations & Development.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years of IT experience.
- 3 years of experience managing IT projects or systems.
- 2 years of experience managing a Jack Henry Symitar system.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Advanced logic and problem-solving skills.
- Professional interpersonal skills for leading, motivating, and communicating with team members.
- Extensive knowledge of computer, network, and security systems.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science-related field, additional years of IT management experience, experience in a financial institution IT environment, programming experience.
