A global leader in building special and custom machinery with a facility in Auburn Hills, Michigan, is currently seeking several Lead Machine Builders for long-term opportunities with their growing company. These are excellent opportunities for Lead Machine Builders who are looking for a company that offers great benefits, stable employment, training, and growth opportunities.
Lead Machine Builders hourly rates are anticipated to start between $37 to $46 per hour based on each candidates experience and education. All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. Overtime is paid at premium rates over 40 hours. Qualified Lead Machine Builders will have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:
- Lead Machine Builder experience with supervision, integrations, installations and commissioning of complete robotic and production lines – BIW experience is a plus.
- Must have strong mechanical aptitude with problem solving / troubleshooting, lead skilled contractors, work with management, engineering and clients.
- Must read assembly manuals / blueprints / drawings / work from BOM to fit and assemble machinery components to tolerance.
- Provide professional support and guidance through all phases of build processes.
- Able to pass standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, etc.
