Laundry Attendant

Hotel Royal Oak is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Laundry Attendant. As a Laundry Attendant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our guests have clean and comfortable accommodations during their stay. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and availability of linens and towels for our guests. This key role ensures that our guests can enjoy a comfortable and refreshing stay. Responsibilities

• Perform daily laundry tasks, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and pressing linens and towels
• Inspect linens for damages or stains and take necessary steps to treat or discard them
• Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain cleanliness in the laundry area
• Organize and maintain inventory of clean and soiled linens, ensuring availability for guests and prompt replenishment when necessary
• Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery and retrieval of linens
• Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed, including room cleaning and maintenance
• Handle guest requests and inquiries efficiently and professionally

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling linens
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
