IAV is currently seeking a Key Account Manager - OEM, Tier X, Commercial Vehicle at our North American Headquarters in Novi, Michigan.

Essential Responsibilities & Activities:
As a Key Account Manager for OEM, Tier X, Commercial Vehicle at IAV, you will be responsible for nurturing and expanding our business relationship with OEM, Tier X, Commercial Vehicle customers. Your role will be pivotal in identifying new business opportunities, managing existing business, and ensuring the highest level of satisfaction for one of our key clients. You will work closely with our engineering and project management teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of OEM, Tier X, Commercial Vehicle accounts. This position will be part of the team that builds customer relationships, sales and marketing activities of IAV, build on a global network of experts with IAV.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to promote growth and customer satisfaction for OEM, Tier X, Commercial Vehicle customers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Stellantis, building strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Network with IAV’s global team and align actions with corporate growth targets.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within OEM, Tier X, Commercial Vehicle accounts, including cross-selling and upselling initiatives.
- Prospect for opportunities requiring design, development, engineering, simulation, integration, testing & validation for Powertrain, Infotainment, SDV, Chassis, ADAS and Vehicle Solutions.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
- Prepare regular reports on account status, including sales forecasts, project updates, and customer feedback.
- Participate in contract negotiations and close agreements to maximize profits while maintaining IAV's quality standards.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to maintain a strong presence and network within the automotive sector.
- Requires domestic and international travel
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven work experience as a Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager, Sales Engineer, or relevant role, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of automotive engineering and technology trends, especially those relevant to Stellantis.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strategic thinker with an analytical mind.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building relationships with professionals at all organizational levels.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and work under pressure.
- Innovative problem-solver who can generate creative solutions and translate them into actionable plans.
- Willingness to travel as required.
