Requirements
Who You Are:
- Technical Visionary: You hold an Associate's degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. But more importantly, you have the skills and experience to bring ideas to life, even if that means you’ve learned outside the classroom.
- Coding Ninja: You’re proficient in C and C++, with a deep understanding of Linux-based operating systems and version control systems like Git and GitLab.
- Network Guru: You have experience with wired and wireless network protocols and are comfortable using advanced development tools like compilers, linkers, Makefiles, and debuggers.
- Independent Innovator: You excel in dynamic environments, thriving on autonomy and the challenge of managing full-cycle system development from start to finish.
What Will Set You Apart:
- Microcontroller Maestro: Experience with 8, 16, and 32-bit microcontrollers and ARM architecture.
- Hardware Savvy: You can read and interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and datasheets with ease.
- Data Dynamo: Familiarity with databases like MongoDB and MySQL, along with web technologies like PHP, JavaScript, NodeJS, and jQuery.
- Hands-On Problem Solver: Skilled in using oscilloscopes for circuit troubleshooting and adept at VM administration.
Extra Superpowers:
- Protocol Expert: Mastery of digital bus protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, and USB.
- Agile Advocate: Experience with AGILE or other iterative development methodologies.
- Language Polyglot: Proficiency in Xojo, Python, or Linux programming.
- CI/CD Champion: Experience with pipelines, particularly GitLab CI, and a knack for unit testing.
- 802.15.4 Guru: Deep knowledge of the 802.15.4 protocol and its derivatives (Zigbee, 6LoWPAN, Thread, etc.).
- Build Environment Whiz: Familiarity with BitBake and the Yocto build environment.
- Certified Pro: IEEE certification is a plus.
