Classification: Part Time Position (roughly 20 hours per week)

As the IT Support Intern, you will provide hardware and software support for in-office and out of office team members, and IT-related/hardware services. This position reports directly to the IT Operations Manager.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in IT related program from an accredited institution or equivalent of education and previous work-related experience
• Must possess the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks
• Must possess superior oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have a working knowledge of MS Office, including strong skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Knowledge in basic IT functions
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Team player who thrives in a fast paced, high-energy environment.

Key Deliverables

• Foster an environment of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Provide level one Helpdesk support for Rockford team members.
• Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding
• Perform Windows 11 Upgrades
• Assist with IT Equipment inventory management (phones, computers, printers, etc).
• Help troubleshoot and fix equipment problems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Type of Environment

The work environment for this position is a typical office environment in which physical demands require the ability to sit for long periods of time. Intermittent movement will be necessary to perform requirements of the position such as accessing centrally located office equipment and may be subject to lifting of 35 lbs., bending, stooping, kneeling and climbing.
